Pet Education 101

OUR MISSION……..

Pet Ed 101 strives to help students have a better understanding of the humane treatment of animals and responsible care of pets, therefore supporting the next generation of responsible pet guardians and promoting a better community for people and their pets.

We have designed classes that are provided free of charge.  Click here to email Mary-Lou Cook or call 910-232-0460 to arrange a presentation for your school, group or organization.

PET ED 101 CLASSES "IN SESSION"……..

Established programs to date include:
• “2+2+2=SAFE”
•  SAFE and RESPONSIBLE
• “IF SHELTER DOGS COULD TALK”
• “DOG SCOOP” (six part series)
Volunteer educators use fun activities to share information encouraging active participation to promote learning. Canine demonstrations, singing our theme song, “It’s Cool to Adopt”, and use of follow up questions including our version of Jeopardy entitled “Dogardy” are included.
