Our Grief Support Volunteers
Support Line:
Coordinated by volunteer and co-founder of Monty’s Home, Eula Crispell, the support line for Monty’s Home has lots of referral and reference information. With experience as an RN in hospice care centers, Eula extends an empathetic and sympathetic ear to ease and help with difficult times.
Support Groups:
Facilitating our pet loss support groups Rev. Mary Catherine (Kitty) Bass, an ordained Unitarian Universalist Association community minister and animal chaplain offers non-denominational guidance through the difficult times and decisions faced by companion animal owners. Understanding the ancient human-animal bond Kitty helps attendees work through the grief associated with the passing of a beloved companion. There is never a charge for support group meetings, but we gratefully accept donations.
