Pawsitive Partners Prison Program Needs:
DOG TRAINERS & APPRENTICE DOG TRAINERS
If you’re already a dog trainer and would like to join our volunteer team, we’d love to have you.
If you have no training experience, but are eager to learn and willing to work, we’re willing to train you to become a Pawsitive Partners Prison Program trainer! We envision expanding our program to correctional facilities across the area and perhaps throughout the state and need apprentice trainers to support those expansion plans. Join us! There’re plenty of furry hugs and sloppy kisses for everyone!!
GROOMING
Bathe and groom incoming dogs; help maintain dogs in the system.
Possibly teach basics to new owners as well.
SPECIFIC BRAND MERCHANDISE FOR PROGRAM CONSISTENCY
All sizes needed as program dogs vary in size:
Collapsible Mid West brand wire crates
Kong and Nylabone brand toys
Lupine brand leashes and collars
Premium Edge dog food
Advantix flea and tick prevention (by Bayer Animal Health)
All natural treats, any variety
Fabric and cotton batting for beds & quilts (details below)
(Take this list to your favorite pet supply store and they’ll help you locate the items listed.)
General Program Needs:

We redeem them for cash.
Please help by saving yours. Bring a donation
box to work or ask businesses you frequent if you can put one there.

FABRIC
We need cotton and cotton-blend fabric and cotton batting for dog beds and other merchandise. We can also use clean cotton towels, and bedding for the rescue dogs and to use as stuffing for our dog beds. And old cotton and cotton-blend shirts can be shredded and used to stuff our dog beds too. Think green! Recycle & rescue

Who can’t use good legal advice occasionally?
